Magnet for gate system with two Flexigates.

The magnet is attached below the HayTime timer. When timing a two fence rope system, one handle of the gate reel is placed on the HayTime timer and the other handle on the magnet (the handles are attached to each other by a spacer rope), so that when the timer is released, the handle attached to the timer pulls the handle attached to the magnet and the gate assembly is released.

There are two different strengths of magnets, because a long timer gate needs a stronger magnet than a short one. We sell magnets designed for the Akon Premium FLEXIGATE green rope gate, one designed for timer gates under 2.5m and one for timer gates over 2.5m. Be careful when choosing the length of the timer gate, as too strong a magnet may not open the port assembly when the timer opens and a partially opened timer port may cause dangerous situations, and too weak a magnet may not be enough to hold the bottom wire in place.

The magnets have been designed and tested specifically for Akon Premium FLEXIGATE green gate reels and there is no guarantee that they will work with other reels or gate systems.

Please note that magnets are very strong and should be handled with care! So please do not open the magnets from their sales box until you are about to install them.
